Help other users find your site on Google

What are users or consumers looking for when they find your BLOG or website? Open the webmaster performance report for your website to see a list of search queries below. Do you appear for the questions you expect? Sort the table by number of impressions and see if you're looking for the right queries. Otherwise, you should restructure your site to appear for these queries. Some hints:

a. Use text: Do not place important page titles or content in images, videos, animations, or other non-text formats that Google can't easily understand. If you do use an image for your site or company name, include it in the page text.

b. Complete: mention everything you provide. Google is smart, but we can't guess what you didn't tell us.

c. Be topical: For example, if you run an ice cream shop that sells hot chocolate at the same time, be sure to taste ice cream in the summer and hot chocolate (or coffee or sandwich) in the winter, when people are not looking for ice cream. If the new trend of kiwi ice cream starts and you have it in the store, then highlight it. 

2. Are you getting visitors for these queries? Select and sort by "Average CTR". Try to improve your click-through rate by making your site best in class. Some tips:

a. Notice other sites: please note that your website is online at suitable locations. See if your local news websites or other suitable resources can list you.

b. Be descriptive: Use your websites with precise, descriptive titles. We suggest that one subject per page be focused.

Keep your website up-to-date: when your site hasn't updated its menu since 1925 then update it ; not many clients are currently looking for sarsparilla.
